The story behind this eye-catching camper is that it was built in Germany in 1976 and then an art student submitted it as her final art degree project in 2005. Subsequently, we found it in a barn in Belgium, rescued it, and brought it back to the UK for a thorough mechanical overhaul. We lowered it slightly, gave it a new set of alloy wheels and tires, got it running smoothly, and sold it to its current owner. For the past five years, it's been a faithful festival/surf bus, but now that the family has grown somewhat they need to upgrade to a larger van.

As you can see the body is an absolute one-off that never fails to attract attention, the interior is also finished in the same spotty style. The current owner fitted a rock and roll bed and a set of simple cabinets and there is space to fit a Waeco style fridge. The van can sleep comfortably sleep two adults and a child and there is also a hammock in the front cab area. Underneath the distinctive exterior, you have a rock-solid, mechanically sound VW T2 bay window fitted with a 1600 cc twin-port air-cooled engine. Structurally it’s in great condition without any corrosion issues, the body was well painted, and is also in good shape.

For your money, you will be buying a unique, one-of-a-kind van, that is fully loaded and ready to take you off on your next camping adventure.
