Imported from Italy this ultra-cool 1968, single-cab VW pick-up is in excellent condition and ready to hit the road.
The original 1600cc single-port engine has been rebuilt and runs faultlessly. The front disc brakes are a recent upgrade. The bodywork and chassis are 100%, rock-solid with no major rust issues or need for additional welding. The suspension has been lowered for a cool stance. Original, date-stamped, Empi Sprint Stars wheels with good tyres are included in the sale.
A custom-built roof rack has been added to the front cab, which comes complete with a Ventura safari tent. The rack is easy to fit and remove depending on your needs. The rear truck bed has been tastefully lined with wood and is covered with a new canvass tilt. A spacious, custom-built sliding storage box has been added to the lower load-bed area.
The cab comes complete with three, three-point inertia seat belts and a Bluetooth stereo system. The original front seats have been recovered and are still in good condition.
